Ah, yes. Writer’s block. It can happen to anyone. When the time comes that you need to write a post or article and the blank screen proves daunting, worry not. There’s a way around it.
During my many years as a professional writer, one truth remains steadfast. I do not have the luxury of waiting out writer’s block. When getting paid to write, there’s much to produce in a short timeframe. Writers must push to get through it. Quickly. There’s no time for lagging.
If facing a wall, the key is to just begin writing. Start with an outline. Start in the middle. Start with the first sentence, or perhaps the last. Pick something and just begin. You can start with phrases and a word or thought. If writing isn’t your main focus, start with an outline and then fill it in. Before you know it, you’ll be rolling along and the post will be complete.
For more tips and information, review the post I wrote describing how to quickly write a post. It includes information about what to have ready before writing and the process of creating your drafts.
